JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -Murry Bartow has been given a two-year contract extension as head basketball coach at East Tennessee State University.
The school said in a news release Thursday that his contract now runs through the end of the 2013-14 season.
Bartow, in six seasons at ETSU, has a 118-72 record. He led the Bucs to conference championships in 2004, 2007 and 2009, along with trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2004 and 2009, and a berth in the NIT in 2007.
``There is still more we can do,'' Bartow said in a statement released by the university.
He's the son of longtime college coach legend Gene Bartow.
