PROVO, Utah (AP) -BYU basketball player Jordan Cameron is switching schools – and sports.
Coach Dave Rose said Wednesday that Cameron is transferring to Southern California to play football.
“He is a great teammate and talented athlete. We wish him the very best as he makes this transition from basketball to football,” Rose said in a statement.
Cameron is 6-foot-5, 220 pounds and was a standout receiver at Newberry Park High School, about 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles. He redshirted his only season at BYU.
