NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The nation’s second-leading scorer has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return to Lipscomb for his senior season.
Adnan Hodzic withdrew from draft consideration late Thursday after putting his name in April 8. The 6-foot-8 forward from Sarajevo, Bosnia, didn’t hire an agent while he checked out his draft status, which allowed him to return to school.
Hodzic was second in the nation in scoring at 22.7 points per game, and was the Atlantic Sun player of the year for the conference champions. He will be joined by three other seniors this fall as the Bisons try to earn the programs’ first NCAA tournament berth.
