LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -Senior swingman Mario Little has had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his lower left leg.
Kansas coach Bill Self said on Saturday that Little will be able to return to the court by June 1. He had the operation on Thursday.
Little averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds last season, missing 12 games because of the leg injury and a broken hand.
He was rated the No. 1 junior college transfer out of Chipola Junior College in Florida last spring. He sat out the first four weeks of practice last fall to rest the stress fracture.
