SEATTLE (AP) -Seattle University has hired Washington assistant Cameron Dollar as its new basketball coach.
The school announced Thursday that Dollar will replace Joe Callero, who left earlier this month to take over at Cal Poly.
The Redhawks are in the second year of a five-year transition to Division I.
Last year, playing a mixed schedule against Division I, Division II and other lower division teams, the Redhawks went 21-8. Next season, Seattle will play a full Division I schedule.
