SEATTLE (AP) -A Seattle University official says Washington assistant coach Cameron Dollar will move across town to become Seattle's new head coach.
Dollar will replace Joe Callero, who left to take the head coaching position at Cal Poly earlier this month. The official requested anonymity because the formal announcement has yet to be made. A news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday on the Seattle campus.
Dollar has been an assistant on Lorenzo Romar's staff at Washington since Romar arrived in 2002. This will be his first head coaching position at an NCAA school.
