JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -Southern Miss point guard Jeremy Wise has decided to enter the NBA draft, but won't hire an agent.
Wise said in a statement released by the school Wednesday that he has made the decision to see what kind of interest he will receive, but intends to return to school for his senior season.
He has until June 15 to withdraw his name from the June 25 draft to retain his eligibility.
Coach Larry Eustachy says Wise has his ``complete support.''
The junior had 16.9 points and 4.69 assists per game this past season and became the first Golden Eagles player to score 500 points in three straight seasons since Clarence Weatherspoon from 1989 to 1992.
