A person familiar with the decision says the University of Dayton has hired Archie Miller as its next head coach.
The younger brother of Arizona coach Sean Miller is expected to be introduced at a news conference Sunday the person told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity because the university had not confirmed the hire.
Archie Miller was an assistant at North Carolina State for three years and at Arizona State for two. He was Thad Matta’s assistant at Ohio State for two years, before moving to join his brother at Arizona as associate head coach the last two seasons.
The 32-year-old Miller replaces Brian Gregory, who left for Georgia Tech on Monday.
