INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indiana has returned from Washington in a dour mood.
The Hoosiers can’t afford to let those emotions linger as they head into an offseason full of questions — especially if they want to bring home the school’s sixth national championship banner.
First, coach Tom Crean has to figure out whom he can build around next season. Center Cody Zeller and defensive stopper Victor Oladipo could both leave early for the NBA draft. Both are projected to be top 10 picks if they do go.
Crean also has to figure out a solution for what went wrong in Thursday night’s 61-50 loss against Syracuse or the Hoosiers can expect to see a lot more zone defense next season.
