President Barack Obama’s picks in the NCAA tournament could use a little stimulus.
Obama fell to 0-for-2 on Final Four teams Saturday night when top-seeded Pittsburgh fell to Villanova 78-76.
The president already had lost out on Memphis – the Tigers got beat in the West semifinals. Connecticut went on to win that regional.
The misses dropped Obama into the bottom 40 percent of the 5-plus million fans who entered ESPN.com’s pool. After correctly choosing 14 teams to reach the round of 16, his bracket ranked in the top 40 percent.
Obama picked North Carolina to beat Louisville for the national championship. The Tar Heels and Cardinals play in separate regionals Sunday.
