HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -James Madison has hired Marist coach Matt Brady as its men’s basketball coach.
Brady has coached the Poughkeepsie, N.Y., school for the past four seasons and lead Marist to an 18-14 record this season. The Red Foxes won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season title and a school-record 25 games last season, including an NIT victory over Oklahoma State.
Brady replaces Dean Keener resigned February 22 after going 31-85 in his four seasons at James Madison of the Colonial Athletic Association. The Dukes went 13-17 this season.
