Robert Morris overcame an apparent home-court jinx to get back to the NCAA tournament for the first time in 17 years, thanks to a late shot by a player who hadn’t made a shot all night.

Each of the previous two seasons, the Colonials swept the regular season series from Mount St. Mary’s, only to lose to the Mountaineers on their home court in the tournament.
Robert Morris became the 13th team to make the field of 65. Later Wednesday night, Portland State played Montana State in Ogden, Utah, for the Big Sky’s bid.
