SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -Mike Nelson had 22 points and seven rebounds and Ben Woodside added 21 points and seven assists as North Dakota State moved into the Summit League championship game with a 79-67 win over Southern Utah on Monday.
The regular-season champion Bison (25-6) will try to lock up the tournament title and an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament on Tuesday against either Oakland University or South Dakota State.
Nelson helped NDSU hold Southern Utah’s Davis Baker to eight points. Davis entered the tournament averaging 17.5 points.
