HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -Bart Lundy is out as High Point's basketball coach after a 9-21 season and a last-place finish in the Big South Conference.
School officials said Monday that Lundy would not return after six seasons leading the Panthers.
Lundy was 96-87 in six seasons at High Point. He led the Panthers to an appearance in the Big South title game in 2004, his first season.
They were 4-14 in league play this season, lost 11 of 12 games during a stretch in December and January and shared last place with Charleston Southern. The Panthers were routed by eventual champion Radford 82-58 last week in their league tournament opener.
Lundy is 211-128 in 11 seasons as a head coach, including five years at Division II Queens in Charlotte.
