CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson is starting for the second-ranked Tar Heels against No. 7 Duke despite a toe injury.
The junior was hurt during Friday’s practice and sat out Saturday. He left practice Friday with the aid of a crutch and had precautionary X-rays, which showed no fracture.
Lawson scored 21 of his 25 points in the second half of the first meeting, a 101-87 win by the Tar Heels.
