ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -Josh Martin scored 13 points off the bench to lead Albany in a 76-64 win over Boston University Sunday in America East Conference play.
The Great Danes finished in a tie for second place in the conference standings heading into next weekend’s postseason tournament.
Al Turley scored 11 points for Albany (15-14, AE 10-6), while Brian Connelly and Jon Iati contributed 10 points each.
Corey Lowe led Boston University (13-16, AE 9-7) with 23 points and Carlos Strong contributed 13.
The lead changed seven times and the teams tied the score five times in the opening thirty minutes. The game was tied 30-all at the half.
In the second half, Albany opened up a 42-37 lead as Tim Ambrose converted a drive on the left baseline.
Boston caught up when John Holland sunk a 3-pointer and Corey Lowe made a long-range jumper to tie the game at 46-all.
