Kendall Chones scores 23 to lead Colgate over Navy, 73-62 Print

 HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) - Kendall Chones scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Colgate to a 73-62 win over Navy in Patriot League basketball Saturday.
It was the final regular season game for both teams.
Tim Pounds and Kyle Roemer added 12 points apiece for Colgate (16-13, 7-7), which shot 45.6 percent overall, made 19-of-25 free throws and was 2-of-9 from the 3-point range.
Greg Sprink led Navy (16-13, 9-5) with 19 points, while Kaleo Kina scored 17 and Chris Harris added 14.
Navy trailed early before scoring seven straight points for a 16-12 lead with 9:55 remaining in the first half. Navy led 32-27 at the intermission.
Colgate turned it around in the second half, extended its lead to nine points with 5:18 left.
Navy shot 33 percent from the field, went 6-of-33 from the charity stripe and made 6-of-33 shots from beyond the arc.
