STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -The man whose office will prosecute Sean Sutton on drug charges says he’s not surprised at how the former Oklahoma State basketball coach is handling the issue.
Sutton has pleaded not guilty to four felonies related to prescription drugs. His attorney says Sutton has also sought treatment at an inpatient facility.
Payne County District Attorney Rob Hudson says he believes Sutton is “stepping up to the plate” by seeking help.
The 41-year-old Sutton was arrested Feb. 11. His father, Eddie Sutton, eventually ended his career because of alcoholism.
