INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The NCAA men's basketball selection committee will have three new members next year.
Wake Forest athletic director Ron Wellman, Big Sky Conference commissioner Doug Fullerton and Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe will join the 10-member committee Sept. 1, the governing body announced Friday.
They will replace Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive, this year's committee chairman; Tom O'Connor, George Mason's athletic director who chaired the committee last year; and Chris Hill, Utah's athletic director.
Wellman took over at Wake Forest in 1992, Fullerton is in his 14th year as the Big Sky commissioner, and Beebe was promoted to his Big 12 job in 2007.
