CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -Miami forward Dwayne Collins missed Sunday night’s game against No. 3 North Carolina because of a sprained ankle.
It was the first game Collins missed this season. The 6-foot-8, 238-pounder – the key to Miami’s inside game – was injured in practice Saturday.
Collins is listed as day-to-day. He’s averaging 11.5 points, second-most for the Hurricanes behind Jack McClinton’s 19.7, and a team-best 7.3 rebounds.
