AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Tony Barbee is trying to shake leading scorer Frankie Sullivan out of a slump. Barbee sat Sullivan down for the final 10 minutes of a loss to Kentucky after the senior guard was called for a flagrant foul and missed a layup. Barbee says he had to do something to get his top player's attention and ``it's time to look at somebody else at that position.'' It remains to be seen whether that decision carries over into Wednesday night's game against Arkansas. Sullivan had 26 points in a double-overtime loss to the Razorbacks a few weeks ago, but hasn't been the same since. He is shooting 30 percent and averaging 11.1 points over the last seven games with just nine 3-pointers. He's averaging 15.7 points for the season. |
