FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas coach Mike Anderson says forward Michael Sanchez is doubtful for Saturday's game with South Carolina after spraining his right shoulder.
Sanchez was injured during the second half of the Razorbacks' 81-59 loss at Georgia on Wednesday night. The senior has started 23 of 24 games this season and is averaging 4.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
Anderson isn't sure of a timetable for Sanchez's return but says there are no torn ligaments or muscles.
Arkansas (16-8, 4-5 Southeastern Conference) has won all of its games in Bud Walton Arena this season and has yet to win a game away from home. Without Sanchez, the Razorbacks will have only eight scholarship players against the Gamecocks (9-14, 1-8).
