SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) -LSU-Shreveport scored a season-high 58 points during the first half, en route to a 97-62 win over Loyola New Orleans Saturday.
Josh Porter scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Pilots (22-1, 11-1 GCAC), and three other Shreveport starters – J’Quincy Jones, Jamon Morris and Travis Cash – scored in the double digits. Jared Stevenson had a game-high 11 assists.
Three players – Nick Tuszynski, Luke Zumo and Sean Bennett – had 15 points apiece for Loyola (12-10, 5-7 GCAC). Torry Beaulieu paired his 12 points with a team-high seven rebounds.
