BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -John Brady was fired as LSU's basketball coach Friday, his team struggling with an 8-13 record.
Brady was the third-winningest coach in the university's history. His 192-139 record included two first-place finishes in the Southeastern Conference and a trip to the Final Four in 2006.
But after that 27-9 season the team fell to 17-15 for 2006-07, with a 5-11 conference mark, and things got worse this season.
