NEW YORK (AP) -Jeremy Goode scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and Mount St. Mary’s (Md.) put away Wagner 66-50 on Saturday night.
Raven Barber added 12 points and Will Holland had 11 for the Mountaineers (9-14, 6-6 Northeast Conference), who have won four in a row.
The Mountaineers have held each of their last four opponents to 56 points or less. The win capped a back-to-back season sweep of Wagner for the Mountaineers, who hold a 4-1 edge in the series in the past five meetings. Mount St. Mary’s won 69-44 on Thursday night.
Trailing 29-21 with 19:17 left in the game, the Mountaineers went on an 11-1 run to take a 32-30 lead they never relinquished.
The Mountaineers outscored Wagner 47-23 in the second half.
Tyler Murray and C.J. Czeski each scored 10 points for the Seahawks (4-21, 2-10).
