LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) -Demetrius Williamson tied a career high with 19 points to help Niagara beat St. Peter?s 73-55 Friday night.
Williamson made five straight 3-pointers to tie another career best but left the game with 10:33 left. Williamson made a layup for a 52-38 lead and landed hard on the floor after a foul by Ryan Bacon.
Tyrone Lewis had 16 points while Bilal Benn had 13 points and seven rebounds as Niagara (18-6, 9-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) won its fourth straight.
Nick Leon led St. Peter?s (6-17, 3-10 MAAC) with 16 points and 9 rebounds while Bacon had 15 points and 7 rebounds.
Niagara led 35-27 at halftime after an early 10-2 run during which Williamson drained a pair of 3-pointers.
The Purple Eagles shot 24-of-56 from the floor for the game and 10-of-24 on 3-pointers.
