EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Tim Johnson scored 15 points as SIU-Edwardsville routed Crowley's Ridge College 77-48 on Wednesday night.
SIU-Edwardsville (8-14, 4-4 Ohio Valley) used a 19-4 first-half run to take a 22-10 lead. The Cougars blew the game open in the second half with a 33-10 run that extended their lead to 69-33.
Donivine Stewart added 14 points for SIU-Edwardsville and Maurice Wiltz had 13 as the Cougars shot 56.4 percent from the field.
SIU-Edwardsville had 16 steals and forced 25 Crowley's Ridge turnovers. The Cougars had a 23-8 edge in assists.
Josh Longino scored 12 points was the only player to score in double figures for Crowley's Ridge, which shot just 31.5 percent from the field. Crowley's Ridge plays in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
