TOWSON, Md. (AP) -Chad Tomko scored six of his 25 points in double overtime to lift North Carolina-Wilmington to a 103-98 victory over Towson on Saturday night.
Johnny Wolf also scored six points in the second overtime as the Seahawks (5-16, 2-7 Colonial Athletic Association) ended a three-game losing streak by outscoring Towson (7-14, 2-7) 14-9.
Brian Morris hit a 3-pointer to give Towson a 96-94 lead with 2:20 left, but Tomko retaliated with a 3-pointer for a 97-96 advantage with 1:41 remaining.
The Seahawks didn’t trail again, sending the Tigers to their sixth straight loss.
Tomko, who also had 15 assists, hit five of UNC-Wilmington’s 15 3-pointers.
Wolf finished with 19 points and Montez Downey added 15 for the Seahawks.
Josh Thornton and Junior Hairston each scored 25 points for Towson. Jarrel Smith had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Hairston had 15 rebounds.
