WASHINGTON (AP) -Roy Hibbert scored 15 points for No. 9 Georgetown, including the only field goal of overtime, to lead the Hoyas to a 64-62 victory over Syracuse on Monday night.
Georgetown (15-2, 5-1 Big East) rallied from a seven-point deficit over the final five minutes of regulation then outscored the Orange 4-2 in a ragged overtime to improve to 10-0 at home this season.
Hibbert was left open for a 13-footer that gave the Hoyas a 64-60 lead with a minute remaining.
Donte Greene then made two of three free throws after he was fouled attempting a 3-pointer to cut the Orange's deficit to two with 44 seconds left. Syracuse's Jonny Flynn, who scored 24 points, missed a long, contested 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Syracuse (13-7, 3-4), which is down to nine scholarship players including five freshmen, has lost four of five overall.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - D.J. Augustin scored 26 points and Damion James added 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead Texas.

James Anderson had 17 points for the Cowboys (10-8, 1-3), who rallied from a 10-point deficit to take a 54-51 lead on Byron Eaton's 3-pointer with 8:31 remaining but didn't make another field goal until Marcus Dove's layup cut Texas' lead to 59-58 with 23 seconds left.
