NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Shane Dansby scored 15 points to help push Belmont to a 76-52 victory over USC Upstate on Saturday.
Jordan Campbell also added 11 points and three rebounds for Belmont (12-7 4-1 Atlantic Sun), which out-rebounded the Spartans 51-33.
The Bruins dominated the scoreboard throughout the game, leading USC Upstate (3-16 1-4) in the first half 37-28, and 39-24 in the second.
Jeremy Byrd was the lead scorer for the Spartans with 15 points and five rebounds while Luke Payne also hit double-digits with 11 points and three rebounds.
