SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) Quincy McKnight scored a career-high 44 points, and Joseph Lopez had 19 points including the game winner on a layup with 2.8 seconds remaining as Sacred Heart outlasted Bryant 112-110 in triple overtime Saturday.
McKnight was 16-for-26 shooting and had nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Lopez was 7-for-10 shooting and had 10 boards for Sacred Heart (8-11, 3-3 Northeast). Matej Buovac scored 18, and Sean Hoehn had 16.
McKnight’s layup with 21 seconds to go tied the game at 101 at the end of the second overtime. Adam Grant missed a jumper with three seconds left for Bryant (5-13, 2-4).
Ikenna Ndugba forced the second overtime on a 3 with 13 seconds left. McKnight missed a jumper with five seconds to go.
Grant tied it at 80 at the end of regulation on a 3-pointer with eight seconds left. It was his second 3 in the final 26 seconds. Grant led the Bulldogs with 32 points and Ndugba had 22 points and seven assists.
