AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -The Texas Longhorns like the view from the top. The trick is staying there until early spring.
The Longhorns earned their first No. 1 ranking in the AP Top 25 this week. At 15-0, Texas is off to its best start since the 1932-33 season.
Senior forward Damion James says the Longhorns deserve to be No. 1 after their good start. He says the tough part is staying there as Texas charges into the Big 12 schedule.
Texas plays at Iowa State on Wednesday.
