CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -North Carolina coach Roy Williams cut his scalp Friday when he tripped over a cord in his office and hit his head on a wall.
He was being treated by medical personnel and would be unable to attend an afternoon news conference, team spokesman Steve Kirschner said.
``He was on his feet unaided, but he was bleeding from a scalp injury,'' Kirschner said.
The top-ranked Tar Heels play North Carolina State on Saturday.
