 INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - George Hill scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead IUPUI to a 60-46 victory over North Dakota State on Thursday night.
Gary Patterson and Austin Montgomery scored 11 each for the Jaguars in a game that included six ties and four lead changes.
IUPUI (12-3, 4-0 Summit), which scored 18 points off turnovers, built a 28-24 halftime lead and led by as many as 17 in the second half.
The Bison (8-8, 2-3) outrebounded IUPUI 33-24 but were outscored 22-18 in the paint. The Jaguars shot 21-of-51 from the field, while North Dakota State managed 18-of-44. The Bison made four 3-pointers while the Jaguars had five.
IUPUI had 13 points off free throws compared to six for the Bison.
Ben Woodside led the Bison with 16 points.
