 WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -T.J. Carter got 23 points, including four of UNC-Wilmington's last six, as the Seahawks defeated Hofstra 74-69 on Thursday night.
Todd Hendley scored 18 points for the Seahawks (9-7). Daniel Fountain scored 13 points, and Vladimir Kuljanin scored 12.
Hofstra led 69-68 with 1:42 left on a basket by Antoine Agudio. With 1:16 left, Carter got two free throws, followed by a basket with 28 seconds left that put the Seahawks up 72-69. Todd Hendley got a dunk with one second left for the final score.
Agudio scored 29 points for Hofstra (3-10) and Charles Jenkins scored 17.
UNC-Wilmington led 35-33 at halftime.
