LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -Reggie Williams scored 43 points on 19-of-22 shooting to lead VMI over Southern Virginia on Tuesday 123-85. Williams, who also had 12 rebounds, became the Big South's all-time leading scorer with 2,234 career points. The Keydets (8-6) led at the half, 61-46, and topped that torrid pace in the second half, scoring 62 to 39 for the Knights' (3-9). Five Southern Virginia players scored in double figures, led by Bryce Pendleton's 13. Tanner Johnson added 12. For VMI, Willie Bell had 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Travis Holmes added 22 points. |
