The Huskies have two NCAA Tournament titles, with the last coming in 2004. Kentucky has won the national title seven times, the last coming in 1998.

Butler and VCU will face off in the other semifinal game. The Bulldogs were the No. 8 seed in the Southeast Region while VCU was the No. 11 seed in the Southwest Region. Butler reached the national championship game last season and finished runner-up. They are the lone team that is still playing that was in last year’s Final Four.
