Of the 12 conference teams, Kansas State and Kansas are the two favorites to win according to online sportsbook Each has 5/2 odds to win the championship while other short odds are Baylor (3/1) and Texas (5/1).

Kansas State has yet to win the regular season title in the Big 12 but they were able to reach the Elite Eight last year. The Wildcats have a lot of talent but are 0-2 to start conference play this year. K-State is 12-5 on the season.

Kansas is the 6-time defending conference champion and currently 16-0 on the season and ranked third nationally. The Jayhawks are 1-0 in conference play.
