The Chippewas will match up against the Boilermakers for the second time in barely more than three months when the teams play in the Motor City Bowl on Dec. 26 at Detroit's Ford Field. |

Hawaii Bowl Preview

A year after pulling off one of the most dramatic wins in the history of the BCS, Boise State finds itself on a smaller stage as the bowl season rolls around.
The 24th-ranked Broncos will be playing their second straight game in Honolulu on Dec. 23 when they face East Carolina in the Hawaii Bowl. |

GMAC Bowl Preview

The GMAC Bowl has been known for offense since the 2001 game became the highest-scoring one in bowl history. This year's matchup seems likely to continue that trend.
Tulsa (9-4) and Bowling Green (8-4) bring their high-powered offenses to Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 6 in the second-to-last game of the college football season. |

Fiesta Bowl Preview

Oklahoma knocked one team out of the BCS title game on the final day of the regular season.
So did West Virginia.
That wasn't enough to get the Sooners a shot at the national championship, so instead they will play in a second straight Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2 to face a Mountaineers team hoping to be recovered from the most devastating loss in school history. |

Gator Bowl Preview

Virginia ranked third in the ACC in scoring defense, allowing just under 19 points per game. It's unlikely it will hold its opponent in the Gator Bowl to that low a total.
The Cavaliers and top defensive end Chris Long will try to contain the spread offense of Texas Tech on New Year's Day when the schools play for the first time. |
