MILWAUKEE (AP) -Milwaukee Bucks forward Desmond Mason was scheduled to have surgery Saturday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.
Mason, injured Wednesday night against Sacramento, is expected to miss six to eight weeks, general manager Larry Harris said Friday.
Mason has played 25 games this season, averaging 8.0 points and 3.9 rebounds.
