MIAMI (AP) -Rookie forward Michael Beasley has been ruled out of the Miami Heat's game against the Atlanta Hawks with flulike symptoms.
Friday night's game was the first Beasley has missed this season. The No. 2 pick in this year's draft has been Miami's second-leading scorer behind Dwyane Wade so far, averaging 13.9 points and 5.2 rebounds on 45 percent shooting.
Beasley's status for Miami's next game, at Memphis on Sunday, is unknown.
