- Chris Bosh, Raptors, had 39 points and 11 rebounds in Toronto's 93-86 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.
-Deron Williams, Jazz, had 11 points and 15 assists in his return to the lineup, leading Utah over Memphis 117-110.
-Carmelo Anthony, Nuggets, scored 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and hit a go-ahead jumper with 1:15 remaining to help Denver beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-105.
-Rajon Rondo, Celtics, scored a season-high 22 points in Boston's sixth consecutive victory, 119-111 over Golden State.
-Rashard Lewis, Magic, scored 19 points and hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds left to lead Orlando over Philadelphia 96-94.
-Shaquille O'Neal, Suns, had 18 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks as Phoenix snapped a three-game losing streak in Minnesota with a 110-102 victory over the Timberwolves.

After narrowly winning its first three home games this season, Portland has won two of its last three by at least 38 points. Last week, the Blazers beat Chicago by a season-high 42 points. Portland's best home start was during the 1977-78 season, when it won its first 26 games.

WASTED EFFORTS
