MIAMI (AP) -Alex Galindo had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds in Florida International's 83-74 win over Kennesaw State on Wednesday night.
Kennesaw State, down 33-25 at halftime, opened the second half with a 16-6 run taking a 41-39 lead. Florida International responded with a 30-10 run.
Russell Hicks had a team high 18 points for the Golden Panthers (2-0), which had four players in double figures.
Kennesaw State (1-4) was led by Ronell Wooten with 25 points. Shuan Stegall added 13 points and seven rebounds.
