BOSTON (AP) – A look at the Miami Heat after their 88-80 loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night:
Record: 0-1.
The Big 3: LeBron James had his moments, finishing with 31 points, four rebounds and three assists, plus led Miami’s charge when it cut a 19-point deficit to three in the second half. But Wade (13 points, 4 of 16 shooting, six turnovers) struggled in what essentially was his first full game since last year’s playoffs because of the hamstring strain, and Bosh had eight points and eight rebounds.
Noteworthy: The Heat scored nine points in the first quarter. They scored more than that in every quarter last season.
Quotable: “It was fun.” – Boston guard Rajon Rondo.
Next up: Miami visits Philadelphia on Wednesday.
