CHICAGO (AP) -The Chicago Bulls were without guards Derrick Rose and John Salmons for Friday night’s preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Rose, the Rookie of the Year last season, has an inflamed tendon behind his right ankle and has not played since the preseason opener against Indiana. Salmons was with his wife for the birth of their second child.
Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas, who missed four games with a right hip contusion, was available as was center Brad Miller, who missed two games with the flu.
