MALAGA, Spain (AP) -Juan Carlos Navarro scored 19 of his game-high 21 points in the second half of the Memphis Grizzlies' 102-99 exhibition loss to Spanish team Unicaja at NBA Europe Live on Tuesday.
Pau Gasol added 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, while Mike Miller added 17 points for the Grizzlies. It was Memphis' first loss in exhibition play.
Davor Kus led Unicaja with 20 points and Marcus Haslip added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Memphis is scheduled to play Estudiantes on Thursday before returning to the United States. The Grizzlies open the regular season at home against the defending champion Spurs on Oct. 31.
