SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Manu Ginobili and Gary Neal scored 11 points apiece and the San Antonio Spurs beat Italy's Montepaschi Siena 106-77 in their preseason opener Saturday night.
Tim Duncan and Tony Parker added nine points each. They started along with Boris Diaw, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, the same starting lineup the Spurs used down the stretch last season.
Bobby Brown scored 20 points for Siena.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich spread out minutes on a roster that is almost identical to the one that collapsed during the Western Conference finals following a 20-game winning streak.
Among the newcomers trying to make the cut is center Eddy Curry. He didn't get off the bench until the fourth quarter and scored seven points.
