HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. (AP) – Training camp is over for the Miami Heat.
A session on Saturday ended a less-than-traditional week of workouts for LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the rest of the Heat at the U.S. Air Force installation in Hurlburt Field, Fla.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says he deems camp a success – both on and off the court. The team has two more events with Air Force personnel, but practice time is over.
Counting a Friday scrimmage, the Heat practiced eight times this week at the Air Force installation. The team returns to Miami on Sunday morning, resumes practice Monday and opens the preseason against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
