MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies are so eager to get to work that most of the players already have been in town playing pickup games for nearly a month, driven by the painful memory of their seven-game ouster in the first round of the playoffs.
Zach Randolph said Monday at the Grizzlies' media day he is motivated to get rid of the ``sour taste'' left by losing to the Los Angeles Clippers. But Randolph says that likely will not go away until the Grizzlies return to the playoffs.
All five starters are back. Memphis added Jerryd Bayless and Wayne Ellington for point guard depth and scoring off the bench.
The June sale of the team to tech company owner Robert Pera could be approved by the league this month.
