MILWAUKEE (AP) -Carlos Delfino says his return to NBA happened very quickly. For the Bucks, it’s going to take more time for Andrew Bogut to return from his sore back.
The Bucks introduced Delfino on Thursday and Bogut talked briefly about his rehab from a stress fracture in his back that wiped out half of last season.
Bogut says his goal is to be ready for training camp. He’s been working on a limited schedule since July and hasn’t yet participated in contact drills.
Delfino was acquired with Roko Ukic in a four-player trade with Toronto earlier this week for forward Amir Johnson and guard-forward Sonny Weems.
Delfino played in Russia last season after playing for the Raptors in 2007-08.
